BACOLOD City – Old grudge was seen as the motive in shooting a man dead in Barangay 6, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 41-year-old resident Alejandro Donesa died of a gunshot wound on the head, a police report showed.
Police said the 61-year-old Emiliano Gregory, also a resident of the village, shot Donesa.
The shooting happened on Tuesday, the report stated.
Gregory was detained at the Kabankalan City police station lockup facility.
