BACOLOD City – The body of an old man was fished out from San Pedro Beach, Purok Manzanilla B in Barangay Old Sagay, Sagay City, Negros Occidental around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday
Police identified the victim as Rodrigo Trejeros, about 60 to 65 years old ,of Purok Bombils in the barangay.
Trejeros’ neighbors believe he may have accidentally drowned.
The initial investigation shows that the victim was living alone, working as a laborer and porter at the Sagay Public Market. His neighbors knew Trejeros as a frequent binge drinker, the police said. The victim reportedly has a son in Metro Manila whom he has lost communication with for a long time now.
The body was brought to FDN Funeral Home in Sagay City./PN
