On Iron Man, Great Places to Work, and Seat Leasing as a Service

Not too long ago, “plug-and-play” devices were sold at a premium.  What a perk it was not having to reconfigure your device just to use a mouse, a scanner, or a webcam.  It was as simple as it’s called – plug and play.  And while we don’t think much about it now, we know that it’s a feature we can never do without.

On a bigger scale, call center companies have made it just as easy for clients to enjoy services that don’t need large-scale reconfiguration.  So much so, that among its roster of clients are other BPOs who outsource their services, requirements, and even workspaces to another BPO. This service is called seat leasing.

Most seat leasing contracts are clear-cut. The service provider provides space and facilities for companies to expand their call center services.  Companies approach a BPO (such as NEARSOL) and the latter takes care of everything.

NEARSOL’s seat leasing solution (SLaaS) as a service eliminates the capital investment of building a brand new site by providing turnkey facilities at a moment’s notice – giving you the option to grow as needed in a secure and technology-forward facility.  You, the client, maintain complete control of your operation.

In response to the growing demands of global businesses and BPOs seeking to scale via seat leasing, NEARSOL Iloilo has beefed up its capacity to accommodate even small-sized enterprises at their Two Fintech and Two Global hubs.

Both multi-level buildings are state-of-the-art structures in the Iloilo Business Park.  The area itself is home to several developments, malls, offices, and academic institutions, and is located just 30 minutes from the airport.

NEARSOL’s Seat leasing solutions include:

  • Hardware and software
  • Exclusive Production Space
  • Reception
  • Recruitment Areas
  • Training Rooms
  • Office Spaces
  • Exclusive Conference Rooms
  • Cafeteria
  • Huddle Rooms
  • Data Centers
  • Recreational Areas (KTV/Pool Rooms)

NEARSOL is equipped with the ability to help you scale your new business in the Philippines.  We can even provide temporary spaces for businesses that need to start operations while simultaneously building their own HQ (swing space).

What sets us apart, however, is our hub and spoke spaces that allow clients to locate agents as they work remotely.

NEARSOL Iloilo’s hubs are at the Two Fintech Place and the Two Global Megaworld.  Both are located along Megaworld Boulevard, Iloilo Business Park, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

Do your Seat Leasing correctly from the get-go.

NEARSOL CEO Victor Pereda’s victory at the Ironman 70.3 Morro Bay, California is a triumph for NEARSOL Philippines as well!

A triathlon is a grueling race that consists of three events – 1.5 kilometers of swimming, 40 kilometers of biking, and finally, 10 kilometers of running.  The order is always the same with the transition time between each event included in the participants’ total time.

The mental and physical preparations alone require discipline, consistency, and dedication – three traits that guarantee success in any endeavor.  As with NEARSOL’s core values, VP, as NEARSOL’s CEO Victor Pereda is addressed within the conglomerate, says that these same traits are what sets NEARSOL apart.  “It’s a daily commitment to gaining momentum, speed, and strength while aiming for the best results.” Says then dedicated CEO triathlete.

This year’s triathlon is special to NEARSOL as well. “Morro Bay holds significant meaning in Philippine history because this marks the spot where Filipinos first landed in America on October 18, 1587.  As I complete the race today, I salute and commemorate all the hardworking Filipinos in history as well as our Pinoy NEARSOL family members across all our hubs. Mabuhay!”  – Victor Pereda, CEO NEARSOL.

In Morro Bay, a special rock marks the original landing of Filipinos to America on October 18, 1587, some 33 years before the Pilgrims landed.

NEARSOL, Great Place to Work – certified, 3 years in a row!

Congratulations NEARSOL Philippines! Certified GPTW (Great Place to Work) for the 3rd consecutive year!  A Great Place to Work certification measures six components.

  1. Values
  2. Innovation
  3. Financial Growth
  4. Leadership Effectiveness
  5. Maximizing Human Potential and
  6. Trust.

The process is rigorous as it requires employee surveys, audits, and benchmarking against global parameters.   The assessment by the GPTW certifying body concludes with a comprehensive analysis, part and parcel of which are statements with percentage rankings that best describe the organization.

“This is a physically safe place to work.”

“People here are treated fairly regardless of their gender.”

“I am given the resources and equipment to do my job.”

“People here are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation.”

“When you join the company, you are made to feel welcome.”

What’s in it for stakeholders?

A quick look at the GPTW website gives job hunters and those seeking lucrative careers great insight into companies and industries.

For employers and leaders, however, the advantage is immense.  Not only does the GPTW certification help elevate the employer brand, fulfill the employment pipeline, and keep top talent engaged,  it also shows that the company culture they chose is a culture that works for them.

For clients, a GPTW Certification assures that they are partnering with a trustworthy company,

When employees feel that they matter … when they feel recognized and appreciated for their contributions, the results are felt and seen – employee engagement, retention rates, productivity, progressive financial statements, fewer sick days, accidents at work, and the like. It becomes a win-win for both the service provider and the client seeking to upscale.
