One-day ops yield P3-M ‘shabu’, 18 drug suspects

ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) seized approximately P3 million worth of shabu during one-day antidrug operations across the region.

One notable operation was carried out by the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) on July 25 in Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City. Police confiscated 125 grams of shabu valued at around P850,000.

The Iloilo City Police Office also seized 110 grams of shabu worth approximately P748,000 and caliber .22 revolver from two suspects in Barangay San Juan, Molo district also on July 25.

Moreover, various police units arrested 18 drug suspects from 6 a.m. on July 25 to 5:59 a.m. on July 26, of whom seven were classified as high-value individuals and 11 were street-level suspects.

* Iloilo Police Provincial Office – two

* Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office – seven

* Bacolod City Police Office – one

* ICPO – five
