ILOILO – A 51-year-old man died and another was seriously injured yesterday morning after dislodged soil buried them in Barangay Anabo, Lemery town.
Rodolfo Escorpeso Jr. of the town’s Barangay Bankal was declared dead-on-arrival at the Sara District Hospital. His companion, Godofredo Agnes, was still being treated at the same hospital.
Police Captain Jose Winston Biadog, officer-in-charge chief of the Lemery Municipal Police Station, said the victims were digging soil when a landslide suddenly occurred./PN
