Operation yields P360T shabu, 6 drug suspects

BACOLOD City – Police operatives arrested six drug personalities in a buy-bust operation around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at No. 11 Coloso St. in Barangay 6, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Superintendent Jonel Guadalupe, OIC police chief identified the suspects as Jireh Doctora Boaquina, 23, a probationer in violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 and resident of Sitio Buri, Barangay 4, Kabankalan City; Denise Michael Umadhay Berzuela, 25, a street level target (SLT); Michael Anlap Pame, 32, SLT and resident of Purok Narra in Barangay Lopez Jaena, Murcia, Negros Occidental; Carina Rodriguez, 33, single, SLT from Purok Mahimayaon, Barangay Bata, Bacolod City; Joebert Dumogho De La Cruz, 36, SLT of Barangay Tampalon, Kabankalan City; and Rubelyn Alo Abanero, 39, female, SLT and resident of Purok Paraiso, Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

The Regional Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Senior Inspector Mark Dado and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Chief Inspector Rogelio Pacificar, Jr. – in coordination with Kabankalan police – conducted the buy bust operation.

Confiscated from them were six small heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu – including the buy-bust item, six big sachets of suspected shabu, one plastic sachet containing dried marijuana leaves, and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspects have been detained and charged with violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
