Passi City recovered 14 firearms, including four revolvers, two pistols and eight shotguns.
“I congratulate my men for responding to my order to focus our campaign against loose firearms. The firearms that we recovered ay mga walang license at homemade. Most of the guns were surrendered,” said IPPO director, Police Colonel Noel Aliño.
He will give a reward of P10,000 to those who can provide positive information about the sale or manufacture of loose firearms.
“Sa ngayon wala tayong na-raid na pagawaan ng armas. Baka wala talaga sa area ko pero we will continue to monitor and we are asking the help of the community,” he said./PN
