ILOILO City – Charged with grave oral defamation, a woman from Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district was arrested, a police report showed.
Officers from Jaro police station served the 53-year-old Aida Baluan a warrant of arrest in the village on Monday.
Baluan was detained at the Jaro police station lockup cell, the police report stated.
The court set the bail bond for her temporary liberty at P18,000.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing if Baluan has posted bail./PN
