I WATCHED the very first broadcast when President Duterte addressed the nation re: COVID-19 pandemic and I saw and heard a leader genuinely concerned with his people calling us to come together, reassuring us that government is there for us.
But then again I watched as a Filipino with no political agenda. Yes, he was speaking rather rambling on in his usual manner complete with the usual comments and sometimes expletives that never fail to piss off the usual suspects.
And as expected, as if on cue the trendy social-climbing so-called millennials and the rest of the idiots came out with all sorts of negativity from his pronunciations, attire and, of course, just being himself, simply because they all hate him. Never mind that the country, including them and the rest of the world, is now facing the coronavirus a.k.a. SARS-CoV-2, more popularly known as COVID-19 pandemic.
That was the only time I stayed up to watch President Duterte address the nation, not that I have anything against him or his manner of speaking but purely for practical reasons. You see, there is no sense in losing oneâs sleep at this age (a card-bearing senior citizen). I very well canât afford that as being on the high risk group.
It makes more sense to just wait the following morning as what he said or rambled on the night before would already be transcribed to official executive orders and be up for implementation by the Inter-Agency Task Force against COVID-19 and all of that will be all over mainstream and social media.
I have been wondering why these âdevotees to the cult of the yellow ribbonâ, trendy social-climbing so-called millennials and the rest of the idiots would wait for hours just to watch the live broadcast of President Duterte when they all hate him. Then I realized that they get into some sort of orgasmic fits everytime they think they found something wrong or does fit into their agenda in his speech, wardrobe, even ballpens heâs holding.
So while President Duterte speaks, the usual suspects closely monitor every word he says, including his body language and wardrobe, then go to convulsive throes of orgasmic fits if they think they see/hear something not to their liking. These people are really pathetic losers.
I cannot imagine staying up and waiting for eight hours or more just to see and hear someone they hate just so they can have something, even the faintest of anything resembling an issue, to say against Rodrigo Duterte.
Suddenly theyâre all experts on COVID-19. In fact theyâre also experts on public speaking when really they just hate Duterte. In fact in one of his weekly live broadcasts to the nation, President Duterte himself said that if you think you have something useful to contribute to the effort against the COVID-19 pandemic, by all means let him know.
However let me add to that; so if you have nothing useful to contribute, just shut up and play with yourself.
So you hate Duterte? By all means show us your balls, go out and rally. Better still, ask all your so-called woke and empowered friends to go out and do your so-called people power to bring him down.
Whatâs the matter? You canât do it? Or scared to go out? Probably both. Of course youâre just a keyboard warrior, youâre only brave in front of your computer. All your life you havenât even been to the barricades but your romantic fantasy is that youâre some kind of anarchist, a revolutionary which you play out in social media with your so-called anti-Duterte posts and #oustduterte hashtag.
Then you wake up the following morning and Duterte is still President. You see, in a real revolution it takes more than a hashtag to bring him down.
For all the âdevotees to the cult of the yellow ribbonâ and the rest of the idiots, the âcureâ for COVID-19 is to oust Duterte and replace him with Vice President Leni Robredo then âmiraculously â the virus will disappear and those infected will immediately be cured… Hallelujah, praise the idiots!
And we segue to something else but quite related; the Department of Education, more particularly the Commission on Higher Education or CHED, should take a look at a certain institution called the âPinoy Big Brotherâ or PBB as it is more popularly known to see if it is an institution of higher learning.
You see, lately in the wake of the recent Taal volcano eruptions and the COVID-19 pandemic, several individuals who have âgraduatedâ or passed through this institution have become expert volcanologists, epidemiologists, virologists and political scientists. These so-called PBB âtalentsâ have taken to social media to post and voice out their âexpert opinionsâ on various topics â from volcanic eruptions to virus pandemics and running the executive branch of the government, sometimes even questioning the established and accredited experts on these fields.
With this PBB institution churning out these âexpertsâ, then CHED should perhaps revaluate the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila, De La Salle University and the University of Santo Thomas as the top institutions of higher learning in the country and replace them with Pinoy Big Brother.
