KALIBO, Aklan – Colonel Lope Manlapaz expressed his gratitude to the community for supporting his two years of achievements as the province’s police director.
Manlapaz thanked the local officials and residents for supporting his initiatives during his post in the Aklan Police Provincial Office.
“Salamat sa suporta ninyo. Nakita ko ang malaking tulong ng ating kababayan, kung wala ang tulong ng lahat ng sektor at ng ating mamamayan, hindi tayo magtatagumpay,” Manlapaz said.
The 53-year-old police chief noted the successful police operations during his term prioritizing the peace and order situation of the province.
He also lauded the valuable contribution of the men and women in uniform and partner organizations for keeping Aklan safe and secure.
Colonel Esmeraldo Osia Jr. replaced Manlapaz during a turnover of command ceremony at Camp Pastor Martelino in this capital town on May 28.
The outgoing Aklan police official will be reassigned at the Police Regional Office 6 in Iloilo City. (With a report from Akean Forum/PN)
