These outstanding barangay tanods will now represent the Province of Guimaras in the Regional Search for Outstanding Barangay Tanods.
This event has been institutionalized to honor the significant contributions of volunteer peacekeepers at the barangay level.
Evaluation criteria for the nominees included the legal foundation of the barangay tanod organization, its structure, logistical and financial support, training, available facilities and equipment, and notable achievements. (With a report from Guimaras Public Information Office)/PN
