CAPIZ – More than 10,000 Capisnons are expected to join the Unity Dance Cover of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) here on April 29.
Among the participants are local dancers, provincial capitol and other government agencies’ employees, and residents, according to Capiz Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office head Alphonsus Tesoro.
It will be staged at the Villareal Stadium as the main venue, as well as in Provincial Park, Pueblo de Panay, and Paseo del Rio.
In line with the celebration of National Arts Month, NCCA Unity Dance is an advocacy and a call to come together and share the same aspirations—to unite people, cultures and nations.
Capiz will also host this year’s kick-off ceremony of the National Heritage Month on May 2.
