GUIMARAS – More than 2,000 jobs are awaiting jobseekers at the Manggahan Job Fair on May 14.
Gov. Joaquin Carlos “JC” Rahman Nava said the job fair will be held at the provincial capitol grounds in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan town from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Job vacancies will be offered by various companies/employers from construction, retail and sales, food and beverage, bank and finance, and business process outsourcing.

Jobseekers are also advised to bring more copies of curriculum vitae (CVs) and resume.
The Manggahan Job Fair is only among the many activities in line with Guimaras’ celebration of the Manggahan Festival 2024 which officially kicked off on May 3.
“Mango Eat-All-You-Can” is also one of the sought-after activities of the annual festival.
For just P100 registration fee, one can consume an unlimited number of mangoes for 30 minutes.
Other highlights of the festival are the Miss Guimaras Coronation Night on May 17 and street dance competition on May 22./PN
