ILOILO City – The West Visayas State University (WVSU) main campus on Luna Street, La Paz district conferred Latin honors to 992 graduating students during the University Recognition Program on Wednesday, June 5.
Of the number, 49 are summa cum laude, 648 are magna cum laude, and 295 are cum laude.
The main campus this year has a total of 1,689 graduates from its post-baccalaureate, baccalaureate, master, and doctoral programs.
Last year, it has produced 1,123 graduates with Latin honors: 36 summa cum laude, 691 magna cum laude, and 396 cum laude honorees.
