BACOLOD City – On June 12, Sunday, 6,152 job vacancies (local and abroad) are available at the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Kalayaan Job Fair at SM City Bacolod.
Mary Agnes Capigon, head of DOLE-Negros Occidental Field Office (DOLE NOFO), said interested applicants can register online via their field office’s official social media page, although they will also accept walk-ins.
However, Capigon said, priority would be given to the 1,800 job seekers who have registered online thus far.
Capigon advised job seekers to bring pertinent such as resumés, diplomas and past employment documents.
According to the DOLE NOFO head, she also advised participating companies and manpower agencies to conduct final interviews onsite, so that applicants can be hired on the spot.
Forty-six local companies and seven licensed-agencies are participating in the Kalayaan Jobs Fair.
This is the f irst time in two years that they will host such an event following the COVID-19 pandemic./PN
