ILOILO – More than half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu was recovered in Barangay Cabugao Sur, Pavia, Iloilo at around 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.
The 40-year-old Sheila Marie Nueva, a resident of the locality, was a high-value drug suspect.
A police poseur buyer bought from her suspected shabu for P20,000.
A total of 75 grams of suspected shabu valued at P510,000 was seized.
Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief, Police Major Rolando Araño, said Nueva allegedly got her supply from Iloilo City.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Pavia MPS-Station Drug Enforcement Team.
The suspect is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
