BACOLOD City – A high-value drug suspect was arrested by police operatives during an anti-illegal drug operation in Purok Tahong, Barangay 2 here around 5:33 a.m. on Saturday, November 16.
Approximately 75 grams of suspected shabu worth P510,000 were recovered from alias “Sandy”, 26, and a resident of the said barangay.
The successful operation was carried out by the Bacolod City Police Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit, Bacolod City Maritime Police Station and Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6.
Sandy is now under police custody. He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
