BACOLOD City – More than half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu were seized during separate antidrug operations in this city.
Police arrested two suspects during the operations – Christian Villar of Barangay Banago and the 27-year-old Henry Morales of Barangay Alijis.
Officers from Police Station 3 caught Villar in this village at around 1:40 a.m. Friday.
Around 42 grams of suspected shabu and the P1,000 marked money were seized from the suspect, a police report showed.
Police estimated the worth of the recovered substance at around P500,200.
Villar was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3.
Just hours earlier – at around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday – Police Station 7 officers arrested Morales in their barangay.
Suspected shabu with an estimated value of P30,000 were seized from him, police said.
An improvised tooter, the P500 marked money and a coin purse were also recovered from the suspect.
