ILOILO City – Joint operatives of the Iloilo City Police Office’s (ICPO) City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and Police Station 9 arrested two high-value drug suspects for possession of approximately P1,020,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Police said aliases “Boss”, 57, and “Madam”, 30, initially sold a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer around 4:54 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro district.
Seized were a total of seven plastic sachets and four knot tied plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing around 150 grams.
Captain Ryan Inot, chief of CDEU, said Boss was a down line of a big drug personality in Muntinlupa.
The suspects are now under police custody and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
