Over P1M ‘shabu’ seized from three high-value targets

CAPIZ – Police arrested three drug suspects and confiscated suspected shabu valued at approximately P1,020,000 in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Banica, Roxas City here.

The Drug Enforcement Unit of the Capiz Police Provincial Office identified the suspects as aliased “Nandro”, 41, and a resident of Barangay 11; “Christian”, a resident of Barangay Inzo Arnaldo Boulevard; and “Joel”, 56, of Barangay Balijuagan.

They were classified as high-value individuals.

Police said they seized a total of 33 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 150 grams during the operation on August 9.

The suspects are now under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
