ILOILO – A total of 331 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately P2,250,800 were seized in nine antidrug operations in Iloilo and Negros Occidental from 6 a.m. on May 7 to 5:59 p.m. on May 8.
Data from the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) also showed that two high-value and five street-level suspects were arrested.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office made the biggest seizure of suspected shabu at 208 grams from four buy-bust operations, followed by the Iloilo City Police Office that confiscated 101 grams of illegal substance from three operations.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Bacolod City Police Office confiscated a total of 22 grams of suspected shabu.
Police Brigadier General Jack Wanky, PRO-6 director, lauded the accomplishments of the different police units.
“Let’s maintain the intensity of our campaign by coordinating and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies. Surely, we can achieve greater things if we are working together,” Wanky added./PN
