BACOLOD City – Officers from the City Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 4 recovered shabu worth some P1.2 million in a drug buy-bust operation at MedalyaMilagrosa St. Greensville 2 subdivision in Barangay Villamonte.

The illegal drugs were confiscated from the Joseph Tan, ChitoGarrido and RodelParcon, a police report showed.

Tan, Garrido and Parcon were all 37 years old and residents of the village.

The suspects were arrested around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday after Tan sold shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000.

Recovered from the suspects were 18 sachets of shabu weighing about 75 grams, police said.

Tan, Garrido and Parcon were detained at the Police Station 4 lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
