BACOLOD City – An estimated P1.3 million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated following a buy-bust operation at Yapquiña Subdivision, Barangay 3, Victorias City, Negros Occidental late Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 25.
Police identified the arrested as 26-year-old Denmark Liscano, a student and resident of Osorio St. in the city’s Lopez Subdivision in Barangay 3; and Marijo Acuña, 37, a resident of Yapquiña Subdivision.
Joint operatives of the Victorias City police station led by Police Lt. Colonel Roy Rodrigo Gutierrez and Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 6 led by Police Lt. Glenn Soliman arrested the suspects after they sold two sachets of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer for P25,000.
A follow-up search yielded an additional 23 sachets and two knot-tied plastic bags of suspected shabu, a mobile phone, suspected drug money amounting to P1,100, an improvised 12-gauge shotgun, and ammunition.
