P1.4-M ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Police arrested two “high-value” drug suspects and four women including a minor in a sting operation in Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

Suspected shabu weighing about 120 grams valued at around P1,440,000 was seized from Guiller Patrick Rigor, 27, Kirk Morris Tambiga, 29, and four women identified as Maxim Laurence Bayawa, 20, Dobielyn Lebumfacil, 20, Rita Marie Fatima Bocateja, 22, and a 15-year-old minor, a police report showed. 

Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a P1,500 marked money and six cellphones were confiscated from them around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, the report added.

The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The minor was turned over to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development./PN
