BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 15 grams valued at around P100,000 was recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 6, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspects as 34-year-old Cheril Delfin of Barangay Handuman and 38-year-old Liza Salmingo of Barangay Vista Alegre.
Delfin and Salmingo were caught after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P400 around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, P771 cash, a cellphone and other drug paraphernalia were also seized.
Delfin and Salmingo were detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
