P102-T ‘shabu’ seized from 5 drug suspects

BACOLOD City – Five drug suspects were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Antonio Luna Interior, Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Six sachets containing suspected shabu worth P102,000 were recovered from them around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.

Police identified the suspects as the 58-year-old Manuel Britanico Jr., 29-year-old Jay-R Britanico, 35-year-old Grace Benieves, 24-year-old Kimberly Hilado, and 20-year-old Ralph Supene – all residents of the village.

Drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money were also confiscated from the suspects, who were detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility.

They were facing charges for violation of sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
