BACOLOD City – Around P136,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from a senior citizen in Ylagan-Endrina Interior, Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental around 1:05 p.m. on Saturday.
The 61-year-old suspect Rovener “Nene Panggoy” Nemenzo was a resident of Barangay 6, San Carlos city.
Four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 20 grams were recovered.
The operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Special Enforcement Team and the San Carlos City police.
Nemenzo is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
