ROXAS City – A 30-year-old drug pushing suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation at a lodging house in Barangay Tiza, Roxas City, Capiz.

Suspect Jeric Brillo Salvador, a truck driver, was a resident of Barangay Bonga, Panay, Capiz.

A police poseur buyer bought one heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu for P2,500 from Salvador at 6:03 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4.

All seven sachets, including the buy-bust item, weighed 23 grams and were valued at P156,000.

The Drug Enforcement Team conducted the operation led by Captain Dennis Losbañes under the supervision of Roxas City police chief Lieutenant Colonel Francisco D. Paguia and Capiz police provincial director Colonel Jerome D. Afuyog Jr. in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6.
