BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth some P240,000 was confiscated in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
The suspected illegal drugs were recovered from the 40-year-old resident Aminola Cabugatan, a police report showed.
Cabugatan was arrested after selling suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,000 around 1 a.m. on Tuesday on Aquarius Street.
Inspector Adrian James Albaytar, assistant team leader of the City Drug Enforcement Unit, said Cabugatan had been under surveillance.
Cabugatan also sells illegal drugs in San Carlos City and Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental, Albaytar added.
Recovered from his possession were nine sachets of suspected shabu, police said.
Cabugatan was detained at the Police Station 8 lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
