BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth about P30,000 was recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banago past midnight yesterday.
The suspected illegal drugs that weighed about 3 grams were confiscated from resident Helbert Ray Tolopia, a police report showed.
Officers from Police Station 3 staged the sting operation at around 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 27, netting Tolopia who sold suspected drugs to an undercover officer for P500.
Tolopia was detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 3.
He will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
