P300T ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Behind bars was where Michael Christopher Ordonez Gonzales landed on Monday after suspected shabu were seized from him.

A buy-bust operation led to the confiscation of the substance with an estimated market value of P300,000, police said.

Police arrested Gonzales on Carmona Street, Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental at around 5:50 a.m.

The 36-year-old villager yielded three plastic packs of suspected shabu weighing around 25 grams, said the police.

A Yamaha Mio motorcycle, P980 cash and the P500 marked money were further seized from him.

Officers from the San Carlos City police station under Superintendent D’Artagnan Katalbas Jr. and the Intelligence Unit of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office led by Chief Inspector Benedick Poblete staged the operation.
