BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth an estimated P360,000 were seized during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 27.

Operatives from the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bacolod City Police Office arrested four suspects – including a former policeman.

Also arrested were her live-in partner Allen John Garote, 31; Ernesto Samson Jr., 30, of Barangay 16; and Cesar Caras, 39, of Barangay Estefania.

Further seized from Liza were four sachets of suspected shabu, two of them contained in a black coin purse.

Garote yielded a big sachet of suspected shabu and the P1,000 cash as well.

Confiscated from Samson were three sachets of the same substance and from Caras, a brown coin purse containing two plastic packs of the substance, said the police.

Police identified Caras as a Police Officer 1 who had gone AWOL (absent without official leave).

Now in Police Station 4 custody, the suspects face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
