ILOILO City – Cash which amounted to P36,000 was lost in a robbery at a multi-purpose cooperative in Barangay Zone II, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
According to the police, the unidentified robbers may have barged into the cooperative Sunday night.
Paulino Artuz, employee of the cooperative, discovered the burglary around 8 a.m. yesterday and right away reported to the police.
Initial investigation showed that the suspects gained entry by going through a hole on the wall where an air-conditioning unit was installed.
The investigation is ongoing. No suspects have been named yet./PN
