ILOILO – A high-value suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Leganes town plaza on Monday, Dec. 18.
The 33-year-old Orlan Huertas was a resident of Barangay Simon Ledesma, Jaro, Iloilo City.
Officers of the Leganes police station’s Station Drug Enforcement Team confiscated around 62.4 grams of suspected shabu valued at P424,000 and P1,500 buy-bust money.
According to Police Captain John Robles, team leader of Station Drug Enforcement Team, the suspect was placed under surveillance for three weeks prior to the buy-bust.
Robles added that the suspect’s source of illegal drugs is allegedly in Iloilo City.
The suspect was detained at the Leganes police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
