BACOLOD City – Twelve sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P425,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Binicuil, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 37-year-old Eric Rasonable of Barangay Sto. Rosario, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental and 39-year-old Marialyn Tabujara of Barangay 1 of the city yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Rasonable and Tabujara were arrested after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 4:50 a.m. on Jan. 19, it added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Kabankalan City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
