BACOLOD City – A traffic enforcer of the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) could lose his job after a video surfaced on social media showing him allegedly taking a P50 bill from the wife of a motorist he apprehended.
BTAO head, Police Major Junji Liba, in a radio interview, said he recommended that the enforcer, whose identity is being withheld, be removed immediately.
According to Liba, he had called the attention of the enforcer and he admitted to receiving the money, although he denied asking for it.
Liba said the enforcer, a job order, began his work with BTAO back in July 2022, with a monthly salary of P9,990.
The BTAO head further warned other enforcers to avoid such activities in order to avoid any problems./PN
