SAN JOSE, Antique – The construction of the first National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) district office located in Barangay Dalipe, San Jose, Antique has been completed.

Last Wednesday, March 9, NBI-6 officials along with Gov. Rhodora Cadiao bless and inaugurated the P50 million three-story building of the NBI district office

The Antique district office is set up to become a district office with investigative capabilities and even a cybercrime unit. It will also serve as a template for district offices in the country.

It is considered to be the first and largest NBI District Office in the entire Region 6.

Last 2019 the construction of the office began as part of the NBI’s expansion and modernization program.

With the opening of the satellite office, it is hoped to further expand peace and tranquility programs in Antique and neighboring provinces in the region.

It is also expected that the processing of NBI clearance for the needy residents will be more expedited./PN
