ILOILO – Two drug suspects were arrested during an anti-illegal drug operation on Monday night, July 1, in Barangay Anilao, Pavia town.
Detained in the Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS) were aliases “Poks”, 48, of Barangay Aganan, and “Nene”, 31, of Barangay Purok 4.
They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Pavia MPS carried out the operation around 11:45 p.m. and recovered 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 85 grams and approximately valued at P578,000.
Police said Poks was classified as a high-value target while his live-in partner Nene was a street-level suspect./PN
