BACOLOD City – Nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing about five grams valued at around P60,500 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 11, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 54-year-old resident Julio Diaz yielded the suspected illegal drugs, police said.
Diaz was caught after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P500 around 4:55 p.m. on May 19, the police added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Diaz./PN
