BACOLOD City – About P600,000 worth of alleged shabu were confiscated in two separate buy-bust operations in Barangay Villamonte yesterday.
The suspects were Rafael Martie, 43, and Janice Palo, 36, both residents of the village.
A P1,000 marked money were recovered from each of them.
The operations were conducted by the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group Special Operation Unit in Region 6, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Negros Drug Operation Team and Police Station 4.
The suspects were detained at the police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
