BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 4 grams valued at around P60,000 was recovered in an antidrug operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 26-year-old Joebert Guitche – a “high-value” drug target – was arrested, a police report showed.
Officers from the City Drug Enforcement Unit staged the sting operation around 11:15 a.m. on Monday, the report added.
They nabbed Guitche after he sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P4,500.
Guitche was detained in the custodial facility of the Silay City police station.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
