BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P68,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets were recovered from 35-year-old Joemarie Babor, a police report showed.
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 and the San Carlos police staged the operation on Oct. 18.
Aside from the suspected shabu, a P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia were also confiscated.
Babor was detained in the lockup cell of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
