ILOILO – About P68,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in an antidrug operation in Zone 6, Barangay Purok 4, Pavia, Iloilo.
Suspect Vimboy Huele, of legal age, was a native of the locality.
Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief Police Major Rolando Araño said they recovered from Huele four plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 10 grams and P1,500 in buy-bust money on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The police have been monitoring the suspect for a month, the Pavia MPS chief said.
Araño added that the suspect’s father was arrested in October 2022 for illegal drugs.
The suspect is facing a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
