BACOLOD City – Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office’s (BCPO) City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) confiscated alleged shabu worth P714,000 from a high-value drug suspect.
A buy-bust operation at around 12:15 a.m. on Jan. 19 in Barangay Villamonte resulted to the apprehension of Oliver Hong, 49, of Barangay Handumanan.
The police recovered the P3,000 buy-bust money, an estimated 105 grams of suspected shabu and a pouch.
Hong was detained at Police Station 4. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs act of 2002, is being prepared against him./PN
