ANTIQUE – Three suspects yielded an estimated P70,000 worth of suspected shabu in Barangay Badiang, San Jose de Buenaviata, Antique.
Jeryl Mabuhay, 34, of Barangay Badiang; Jessie Barcenal, 31, of Barangay Funda-Dalipe, San Jose; and Mark Isla, 32, of Barangay San Fernando, San Jose were arrested around 3 p.m. on March 7.
Police Major Geremy Ian R. Magbanua, acting chief of the San Jose de Buenavista Municipal Police Station (MPS), said around 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at P70,000 and some P80,000 in cash were recovered.
Two disposable lighters, one empty transparent plastic sachet, two disposable straws and two cell phones were also found.
The three suspects were held at the San Jose de Buenavista MPS, facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
