BACOLOD City – An estimated P8.9 million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated by the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) last month.

BCPO spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Sherlock Gabana said 64 police antidrug operations were conducted resulting in the arrest of 72 drug suspects, including seven high-value individuals, and the confiscation of over 1,316 grams of suspected shabu.

In the same period, the BCPO was able to arrest 18 most wanted persons and 74 other wanted persons in 92 police operations for the campaign against wanted persons.

For the campaign against loose firearms, 16 police operations were conducted – five persons were arrested and nine homemade firearms were confiscated.

In the anti-illegal gambling operations, 60 individuals were arrested.
