P80-M sports complex breaks ground in Pavia

ILOILO – A groundbreaking ceremony marked the commencement of an P80-million sports complex at Pavia National High School in the municipality of Pavia.

The facility is designed to enhance the educational and athletic experiences for students and residents not only of Pavia but also those of other towns in the 2nd District.

The sports complex will feature a state-of-the-art rubberized oval track worth P55 million and a P25-million grandstand equipped with provision for classrooms.

Uswag Ilonggo party-list’s Cong. James “Jojo Ang” who facilitated the project’s funding stressed the importance of such developments, emphasizing the need for conducive learning environments that benefit both educators and students.

“Education is a big thing,” Ang said, highlighting his commitment to improving educational facilities.

Mayor Luigi Gorriceta of Pavia thanked Ang for his continuous support and initiatives that focus on constructing vital educational infrastructure./PN
