BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P80,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Sitio Sibucao, Barangay Banago on Monday evening.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in four plastic sachets were seized from the 21-year-old resident Joebert Jalandoon and Silay City, Negros Occidental resident Roel Deviera, a police report showed.
Jalandoon and Deviera were nabbed after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500 past 8 p.m. on Jan. 7.
The suspects denied they own the recovered items, saying they were only attending to game fowls in the area.
They were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
