ILOILO City – A man and his two sons were stabbed in a commotion in Barangay Tacas, Pontevedra, Capiz, a police report showed.
The 47-year-old Juvy Bagares Sr. and sons Juvan, 28, and Juvy Jr., 19, were rushed to the Roxas City Hospital where they were treated.
The Bagareses were residents of Barangay Ilawod, Pontevedra.
According to the police, the 18-year-old Leoncio Baguilar III and a 16-year-old boy attacked the Bagareses around 2:20 a.m. on Dec. 28.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the commotion.
The minor suspect was arrested and turned over to the Municipal Social Worker and Development Office while Baguilar was detained.
Baguilar was released from jail yesterday./PN
