BACOLOD City – A 44-year-old father landed in jail after he was arrested for allegedly raping his three minor daughters.
The suspect was caught by operatives of the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Negros Occidental through the strength of an arrest warrant for six counts of qualified rape under the Revised Penal Code in relation to Republic Act 8369.
The suspect was detained at the Pontevedra MPS. The Regional Trial Court – Branch 63 in La Carlota City recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty.
Pontevedra police said the three minors sought assistance from their station, alleging they were victims of rape by their father./PN
